From July 23rd to 27th, 2024

Gardens of Villa Rothschild, Cannes

Following the success of the past four editions, the Villa Jamel Comedy Club returns this summer for a new edition! Join us from July 23rd to 27th in the exceptional setting of Villa Rothschild to discover the comedic talents of tomorrow spotted by Jamel Debbouze. On the agenda: 5 evenings filled with laughter and conviviality, where jokes, sketches, and happenings will be on the menu. A unique event in an idyllic setting, with your feet in the grass. Tickets are already available, and the program will be revealed soon.

Samuel Dijan, known as Bambi, is a French actor and comedian. He began stand-up at the age of 17, performing sketches in café-theaters and open stages. He gained recognition following his duo with Younès, notably in his show "L'arabe et le juif," an explosive duo noticed by Jamel Debbouze. In 2013, he was part of the cast of the Jamel Comedy Club at the Théâtre du Gymnase. Today, Bambi ventures solo, drawing inspiration from comedy giants such as Gad Elmaleh, Ellie Kakou, or Raymond Devos.

Through storytelling and keen observation, Ilyes Mela recounts his life, which particularly resonates with ours. At the age of sixteen, Ilyes Mela began stand-up and performed in various comedy clubs. Shortly after, he met Kev Adams, who offered him to open for his show in Lille. After this significant experience, the budding comedian created his first show titled "Ilyes Djadel en rodage." In 2022, he performed alongside renowned comedians during the ten-year anniversary of the Marrakech du rire in the show "Le Marrakech du Rire 2022: les 10 ans." He also participated in the 11th season of the Jamel Comedy Club aired in the summer of 2022 on Canal+.

Blending stand-up and offbeat humor, the comedian shares his observations and journey, juggling poetry and audacity throughout the show. This show is unclassifiable and phenomenal! "Entering Santini's universe means discovering that anything is possible on stage!" PS: Santini wishes to clarify that he is not the author of this pitch.

Marine Leonardi cynically dissects the annoyances of daily life with dark humor, from relationships to motherhood. No worries, her husband prefers her on stage than in the kitchen. A liberating show that leaves you thinking: "I didn't dare to say it."

Born in the Paris region, Nash, the youngest of three siblings where jokes were the most effective means of communication, doesn't remember ever wanting to become a comedian when she was little... Early 2018: Nash, a certified public accountant (yes, really!), just got dumped by her boyfriend. Desperately in need of laughter, she decides on a whim to step into Café Oscar. In short, she jokes about life and she's happy to do it. She has already been seen in seasons 11 and 12 of the Jamel Comedy Club, in "Génération Paname" on France 2, and as the opening act for the Marrakech du Rire.

A member of the Jamel Comedy Club, resident at the Fridge Comedy and Paname Art Café, Antek is one to watch. Antek is a funny guy: with his happy face and red glasses, he juggles between personal stories and daily observations.

Between identity crisis, heartbreak, and his role as a big brother, Mouhamadou believes that life is a choice. His choice is to laugh, to laugh at his pains, and to let us into his intimacy. Taking life on the bright side is not just a slogan, it's his philosophy. Mouhamadou tells his story, his greatest joys, and his greatest sorrows in a one-man show where every word comes straight from the heart.

Rey Mendes uses his charm and likability to make his audience laugh. He tackles education, prejudices, couple life, and stands out with his "deadpan" humor by involving the audience to support his statements (or not!).

Mouhamadou will perform only on July 23rd and 24th, and Rey Mendes will perform only on July 25th, 26th, and 27th.

Acclaimed by both the public and the press, this troupe, a true breeding ground for future comedic talents spotted by Jamel Debbouze, returns today through a new collective show operating under the same mechanics as the previous one: stand-up artists on stage delivering jokes, sketches, and happenings. The adventure continues! The Jamel Comedy Club troupe, laughter and a unique experience guaranteed! Selected by Jamel Debbouze, comedian, actor, and successful producer, The Jamel Comedy Club troupe is both a show and a fruitful collaboration between tomorrow's comedians. The freshness and simplicity of each artist are captivating, and the media agree. For Libération, it's "an authenticity that imposes itself as obvious." And for Les Echos, the characters are "funny and endearing."
