News Retail Real Estate : Bang & Olufsen Unveils New Flagship Store in Mayfair

Bang & Olufsen is set to create a haven for sound, design, and sensory experiences on London's famed New Bond Street, nestled in the heart of Mayfair.

Part of a 15-year redevelopment project aimed at restoring a cherished segment of London to its former grandeur, Bang & Olufsen of Mayfair finds its home in proximity to the newly rejuvenated Hanover Square and the Medici courtyard. Covering an impressive 4,000 square feet, this state-of-the-art store is scheduled to welcome customers in early 2023.

James Simons, Head of Retail UK & IE, expressed excitement, stating, "Our New Bond Street home will provide a buzzing, vibrant environment perfectly suited to showcase our brand and deliver the magical sound experiences Bang & Olufsen is renowned for. With the Elizabeth line now open, we're preparing to welcome visitors from all corners of the country to join us in our new London destination, just a two-minute walk from Bond Street station."

The store boasts a cutting-edge demonstration space, offering an immersive in-store experience that highlights the products at their finest and positions Bang & Olufsen alongside other luxury brands that share their ethos.

Secured under a multiyear lease, the store will also feature an activation zone hosting a variety of curated events catering to customers' interests. These will include live workshops, music performances, podcast recordings, special guest appearances, and more.

Market Director at Bang & Olufsen, Scott Anderson, describes the new Bang & Olufsen of Mayfair as "designed to engage the senses as you navigate through the store, inviting visitors to witness, hear, and experience nearly a century of audio-visual innovation like never before. Nestled amidst luxury apartments, 18th-century buildings, and a newly established public courtyard, the new store will fortify our presence in London, complementing our existing locations in the capital, such as Harrods and Selfridges."
