AN EVENING OF MIRACLES by CHOPARD

79th Cannes Film Festival, Monday 18 May – Chopard unveiled MIRACLES, an exceptional soirée hosted by Caroline Scheufele, Co‑President and Artistic Director, conceived as a celebration of wonder, imagination and extraordinary craftsmanship. Staged at La Palestre in Cannes, the evening unfolded as an immaculately choreographed celebration within a spectacular setting.

Chopard welcomed friends and guests of the Maison, among them Chopard Ambassador Bella Hadid; Chopard Ambassador Jacky Ickx*; members of the Jury Demi Moore* and Ruth Negga*; actors Sofia Carson*, Emmanuelle Béart*, Jacqueline Fernandez*, Yasmine Sabri*, Annabelle Wallis*, Vasili Schneider*, Salim Kechiouche*, Harry Goodwins* and Aurélien Muller*; as well as notable personalities Carla Bruni*, Cindy Bruna*, Johannes Huebl*, Olivia Palermo* and Georgina Rodriguez*,. The event was also attended by Chopard Co-President Karl‑Friedrich Scheufele and his wife Christine Scheufele, alongside their son Karl‑Fritz Scheufele, for what quickly became one of the most talked‑about evenings of the Cannes fortnight.

The evening began with a cocktail reception set beneath a big top, inspired by the universe of the circus — a world of enchantment that continues to astonish, whether discovered for the first time or revisited with enduring awe. Conceived as an emotional experience as much as a visual one, MIRACLES sought to rekindle a childlike sense of amazement. The cocktail area revisited the iconic harlequin lozenge motif, punctuated by plush seating and a bold palette of lush orchid tones.

Guests were then invited to gather for a runway presentation revealing the latest silhouettes from Caroline’s Couture, shown alongside Haute Joaillerie creations from the 2026 Red Carpet Collection, also entitled MIRACLES. Comprising 79 pieces — one for each year of the Festival’s history – the collection featured, among its highlights, striking clown‑inspired brooches set with diamonds, emeralds or rubies, paying tribute to one of Caroline Scheufele’s foundational creative gestures for the Maison. The show opened with model Liu Wen and concluded with a finale led by Eva Herzigova, Liu Wen, Adriana Lima, and Nour Arida, all longtime friends of Caroline Scheufele.

Following the runway presentation, Caroline Scheufele addressed guests, accompanied by her loyal companion and mascot, Byron – her cocker spaniel, before a central structure behind her rose to reveal the dining space beneath – a theatrical transformation marking a new chapter in the evening’s unfolding.

Dinner was curated by Chef Bruno Oger, whose two‑Michelin‑star savoir‑faire brought refinement and generosity to the table. The lavish dinner featured a yellow pepper velouté with ricotta and flame‑grilled white asparagus, followed by Breton lobster with green vegetables, horseradish and walnut, and concluded with a peach and orange‑blossom Melba parfait, finished with redcurrant coulis.

During dinner, the atmosphere was enlivened by a sequence of intimate and unexpected performances, from magicians weaving through the room to dynamic acrobatic interludes by the Knie Circus.

The evening continued with a captivating burlesque number by Dita Von Teese followed by Sophie Ellis-Bextor’s performance of her most celebrated songs, culminating in the iconic Murder on the Dancefloor. Festivities then carried on into the night with a DJ set by Bob Sinclar.

A true highlight of the Cannes Film Festival, MIRACLES offered an immersive expression of Chopard’s creative vision — a world where craftsmanship meets emotion, and where moments of wonder are transformed into lasting enchantment.

Chopard extends special thanks to its partners for their contributions to the evening: Casadei for shoes, Nouba Italia and MKS Milano for make-up, as well as Wella Professionals Italia and salons Orazio Anelli, Vatami and Zero6.Lab for hair.
