Riyadh, Saudi Arabia – Saudi Arabia’s Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources and Chairman of the Saudi Authority for Industrial Cities and Technology Zones (MODON), Bandar Alkhorayef, has inaugurated a series of industrial projects valued at approximately SAR 3 billion.
Of this total, SAR 1.8 billion is allocated to new infrastructure development initiatives, aimed at enhancing industrial zones across the Kingdom. Key projects include:
- Upgrades to road networks, improving connectivity within industrial areas.
- Enhancements to water and sewage systems, ensuring sustainable utilities for industrial operations.
- Construction of a 12,500-cubic-meter water reservoir to support industrial and municipal needs.
- Launch of the fourth phase of infrastructure development, covering an area of 6 million square meters, further expanding industrial capacity and investment opportunities.
These projects align with Saudi Arabia’s broader strategy to strengthen its industrial sector, attract investment, and boost economic growth. MODON’s focus on modern, sustainable infrastructure reflects the Kingdom’s commitment to creating world-class industrial cities and technology zones.
Minister Alkhorayef emphasized that these initiatives would not only improve operational efficiency for industries but also contribute to job creation, economic diversification, and enhanced living standards for communities surrounding the industrial zones.
