On March 31, 2025, under the brilliant sun, the Hôtel Amour Plage in Nice came alive with the vibrant energy of the 8th edition of Vins d’Azur, a wine fair that has firmly established itself as one of the flagship events for natural and artisan wine enthusiasts and professionals. This year’s event brought together passionate wine lovers to taste authentic cuvées and engage with talented winemakers from across France and even Europe.

In a setting that was both laid-back and refined, visitors had the opportunity to explore a curated selection of estates that champion viticulture that respects the terroir and the living world.

A Gourmet Experience with Chef Yoric Tièche

This edition of Vins d’Azur stood out not only for the quality of the wines presented but also for its exceptional gastronomic offerings. Several renowned names from the culinary world were present, including Alternatives (Nice), La Cambuse (Côte d’Azur), La Pêche à la Vigne (Nice), and Monafrais (Monaco).

However, one of the most memorable moments of the day was the exceptional presence of Chef Yoric Tièche, Executive Chef at the Grand-Hôtel du Cap-Ferrat, A Four Seasons Hotel. Known for his refined cuisine that elevates local, seasonal products, Chef Tièche was the guest of honor at the Monafrais booth, where he provided a unique culinary experience for visitors.

Throughout the day, Chef Tièche delighted attendees with gourmet bites specially crafted to pair with the natural wines at the fair. Dishes included finely seasoned fish carpaccio, seasonal vegetables worked into surprising textures, and bold food and wine pairings. Each creation invited guests to rediscover flavors in a fresh and exciting way.

His presence also provided an opportunity for intimate exchanges with visitors, who were able to discuss his culinary approach, his love for local products, and his commitment to responsible and sustainable cooking.
