On October 11, 2024, the beach of La Vela in Nice transformed into an open-air gallery for the Summer Closing Art, a unique artistic event curated by Rebecca Reb, founder of the collective Les Artistes by REB. Titled “A Gallery Under the Stars“, the evening brought together numerous artists, art lovers, and curious minds in a stunning seaside setting.
An Open-Air Exhibition, Between Sea and Light
The enchanting setting of La Vela Beach—known for its chic, laid-back atmosphere—provided the perfect backdrop for this late-summer art gathering. The concept was simple yet powerful: to present artworks in a natural environment, free from the conventional limits of a gallery space. A beautiful way to make art more accessible and to close the summer season with elegance and warmth.
Talented Artists, Singular Universes
Among the exhibiting artists, several stood out with the richness and originality of their work. Cesario Moore, aka Rway, impressed with his urban style and bold visual identity. Custom My Shoes by Mike presented a creative and fresh take by transforming everyday items into artistic pieces, blending design and craftsmanship.
Nicolas Marvel, with his contemporary compositions, and Frédéric Fortuné, a sculptor with a distinctive artistic voice, also left a strong impression. Omar Logang added to the diversity of the exhibition with his own captivating creations. Each artist brought a unique perspective, showcasing the vitality and diversity of the local art scene.
Every artwork provoked admiration, reflection, or emotion. The interplay between different styles, materials, and artistic visions created a surprisingly harmonious result, turning the evening into a truly immersive experience.
