Bombardier Expands Presence in Middle East with Inauguration of State-of-the-Art Line Maintenance Station in Dubai

Bombardier Aviation, the renowned Canadian commercial jet manufacturer turned business jet innovator, has marked a significant milestone with the inauguration of its new line maintenance station at Al Maktoum International Airport in Dubai South. The state-of-the-art facility spans an expansive 3,000 square feet and is strategically designed to cater to the evolving needs of the Middle East's booming aftermarket sector.

Comprising dedicated office space, well-equipped stores, a tool room, and a versatile general workshop, the Bombardier station stands ready to address a wide array of maintenance requirements. Notably, the facility boasts Aircraft on Ground (AOG) capabilities, ensuring swift and effective solutions for any unexpected issues that may arise.

In line with its commitment to excellence, Bombardier has deployed two mobile response trucks and assembled a team of nine highly skilled technicians at the Dubai station. Anticipating further growth and demand, the company has outlined plans to recruit three additional technicians by 2022, reinforcing its dedication to providing top-notch service and support to its customers in the region.

Bombardier's decision to establish a line maintenance station in Dubai aligns with its overarching strategy to penetrate the burgeoning Middle Eastern aftermarket sector, which the company identifies as a market rife with "significant growth opportunities." The move reflects Bombardier's proactive approach to meeting the increasing demand for specialized maintenance services in the region, driven by the rising number of Bombardier business jets operating in the Middle East.

With its cutting-edge facilities, expert technicians, and a focus on AOG capabilities, Bombardier's new line maintenance station in Dubai not only elevates the company's presence in the Middle East but also sets a new standard for the provision of comprehensive and efficient aftermarket services in the aviation industry. As the demand for business jets continues to soar in the region, Bombardier is well-positioned to play a pivotal role in shaping the future of aviation maintenance in the Middle East.
