IHG Hotels is set to introduce a brand-new luxury resort on The World Islands in Dubai

IHG Hotels & Resorts has recently made a significant announcement regarding its forthcoming luxury resort project in Dubai. This exciting venture, known as the Marbella Resort Hotel, Vignette Collection The World Islands Dubai, is set to become a prominent addition to IHG's already impressive portfolio in Dubai.

Currently in the construction phase, this resort is expected to open its doors to guests in January 2026. It will be situated in a truly unique location, The World Islands, which is a man-made archipelago off the coast of Dubai. These islands are meticulously designed to resemble different countries and continents worldwide. IHG's collaboration with The World Islands represents a notable milestone, especially for The Heart of Europe project, which is currently a flagship undertaking led by the Kleindienst Group.

The Marbella Resort Hotel will offer 150 well-appointed rooms, each providing breathtaking views of the pristine Arabian Gulf and a private beach. The resort's architectural design will be a fusion of Andalusian-inspired aesthetics and contemporary elements, ensuring a one-of-a-kind guest experience.

Haitham Mattar, the Managing Director of India, Middle East, and Africa for IHG Hotels & Resorts, expressed his enthusiasm about this partnership. He highlighted IHG's unwavering commitment to providing exceptional accommodations and experiences to their guests. Mattar believes that the Marbella Resort Hotel will not only redefine luxury but also set new standards for the hospitality industry in the region. He looks forward to welcoming travelers from around the world when the hotel officially opens its doors in 2026.

This venture is currently in the construction phase and is expected to become a key highlight within IHG's expanding Dubai portfolio. At present, IHG operates 108 hotels across eight distinct brands in the Middle East, which includes renowned names such as InterContinental, Crowne Plaza, Holiday Inn, Holiday Inn Express, Staybridge Suites, Hotel Indigo, voco, and Six Senses. This impressive expansion demonstrates IHG's commitment to catering to the diverse needs of travelers and enhancing their hospitality offerings in the Middle East.
