Marriott International made a significant announcement at the International Luxury Travel Market (ILTM) Cannes, revealing plans to inaugurate more than 30 luxury hotels in 2022. The renowned hotel group is on the brink of expanding its global presence, with an impressive pipeline of nearly 190 properties in development. This includes the eagerly anticipated debut of 30 hotels slated to open in the coming year, spanning locations from Mexico to Portugal, and Australia to South Korea.

A comprehensive study on global luxury travel trends, conducted in collaboration with creative agency Team One, uncovered a notable shift in the mindset of today's affluent travelers. Marriott International aims to align with these evolving traveler aspirations.
