News Retail Real Estate : Mango Expands UK Footprint with Three New Stores
Fashion retailer Mango is significantly increasing its presence in the UK with the launch of three major stores this autumn.
The brand has recently opened a store in Bluewater, Kent, and is on the verge of debuting at Battersea Power Station. Additionally, plans are in place to open another store in Newcastle next month.
Daniel Lopez, Global Expansion Director, expressed, "The opening of these three stores is part of the expansion plan we are promoting to consolidate our brand in the country and a step forward in our strategic goals for international expansion and our distribution ecosystem. The United Kingdom is a key market for Mango and one of the most important for the fashion industry in the world, and we want Mango to have a significant presence in it."
These new store openings will bring Mango's total store count in the UK to nearly 50 by the end of 2022, encompassing physical locations in shopping centers, standalone stores, and corners within department stores.
Mango has been operating in the UK since 1998 and strengthened its presence last year with the launch of a new flagship store on London's Oxford Street, as well as three other stores in Manchester, Edinburgh, and Derby.
